A single cask grain whisky from Nikka, distilled in 1998 in a Coffey still at the Miyagikyo distillery in Miyagi, Japan. It was aged for 12 years and bottled from cask 102110 at a natural cask strength of 62%, in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration.
The nose offers pineapple, mango, vanilla, toffee and coconut with a hint of oak spice. On the palate are caramel, butterscotch, baked apple, cinnamon, nutmeg and white chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with oak spice, coconut oil and vanilla custard.
