Nikka Taketsuru 21 Year Old is a Japanese blend of single malts from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, each aged for at least 21 years. It is a limited edition, bottled at 48% without chill filtration.
The nose brings orange, mirabelle plum, passion fruit, candied apricot and date, with a touch of peony. The palate is broad and creamy, with chocolate, praline and candied fruit alongside a faint peaty note. The finish is elegant and lasting, moving from fruit and cream to light smoke.
