Nikka Whisky From the Barrel 2026 (50cl, 51.4%)

Nikka From the Barrel is a blended Japanese whisky, bottled by Nikka at 51.4% in a compact square 50cl bottle. It brings together more than 100 aged malt and grain whiskies, chiefly malts from Yoichi and Miyagikyo along with Nikka's characteristic Coffey grain whiskies. The blend then goes back into cask for several months. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose combines rich oak with vanilla, dark chocolate and orange peel, with a grainy note. The palate is dense and sweet with firm oak structure, pepper and caramelised apple. The long finish stays fruity and spicy, with ripe fruit, vanilla and dry wood spice, closing on a bitter oak edge.
