Nikka Yoichi Limited Edition 2019 marks 50 years of the Miyagikyo Distillery, the sister distillery of Yoichi. It is a Japanese single malt bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle, limited to 700 bottles.
The official notes describe a nose of pancakes with butter and maple syrup, vanilla from the oak and peaty aromas reminiscent of the shore. The palate brings dark chocolate bitterness, rich roasted barley and peat smoke, and the finish is woody oak with floral notes, orange peel and bold peat.
