This is a 10 year old Japanese whisky from Nikka Whisky Distilling Co. Ltd., a company founded in Tokyo. It is matured for ten years before bottling. The nose brings apricot, grapefruit and wine, with a hint of ginger. The palate is dry and winey, with blood orange, nuts and an earthy character, plus dried fruit and a touch of oak. The finish is of medium length, spicy and winey, rounded off with wax, nuts and fresh lemon peel.
