This is a 10 year old single malt from Nikka, distilled and matured at the Yoichi distillery, the birthplace of Nikka Whisky. It is bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle and carries the new label introduced in mid 2022.
The malts are selected for the fragrance of aged casks, a mellow, well-rounded palate and a bold, powerful taste.
The nose is dusty old oak with summer fruits and nuts. The palate brings peach, green apple, pear, well-integrated peat and vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone, with an oily texture. The finish is honey sweetness with orange zest and summer fruits.
