Nikka Yoichi Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 45%)

Nikka Yoichi Single Malt is a Japanese single malt without an age statement, bottled by Nikka at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was introduced in 2015, during the Japanese whisky drought, and replaced the previous core range. Yoichi was the first distillery built after Nikka's founder, Masataka Taketsuru, left Suntory in the 1930s. It was Nikka's only whisky distillery until Sendai, now known as Miyagikyo, was built in 1969. The flavour is described as lively, grassy, sweet and fruity, balanced by a thread of smoke.
