North Star Chaos Batch 003 is a single malt from Caol Ila, bottled at 50% ABV. The batch carries a port influence from Octave casks, small casks that bring a light sweetness to the finish.
The nose combines peat smoke, dark chocolate, apple and heather honey. On the palate there is white pepper, good peat smoke, English liquorice, nuts and a little citrus. In the finish the port casks add a gentle sweetness, and the peat smoke gains some complexity.
