This is the first release in the Periodical Collection from independent bottler North Star Spirits. It is a 12 year old single malt from an Orkney distillery, bottled at 50% ABV from a single refill puncheon.
Unlike North Star's usual bottles, the Periodical releases come in old-style 50cl medicine bottles of the kind whisky merchants once used. Just 424 bottles were filled from this cask.
