Octomore Edition 14.1 is a super heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, in a 70cl bottle at 59.6% ABV. It is a limited release, part of the 14th annual Octomore series, with a peat level of 128.9 ppm. The spirit was distilled in 2017 from Concerto barley of the 2016 harvest and matured for five years in first-fill ex-American whiskey casks. It is described as sweet caramel and vibrant vanilla with citrus zest, followed by the Octomore smoke, roasted coffee and a mix of spice.
