Okami 4 Years Old is a Japanese pure malt whisky, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It has been finished in Mizunara casks for 12 months.
The nose is lively, fresh and slightly sweet, with honey, baked red apples and custard dusted with cinnamon. On the palate it is soft and silky, with spiced honey, red apple, clove and caramel, alongside sandalwood, coconut, vanilla and toasted nuts. The finish is long and warm, fading with pepper, oak and a hint of grapefruit acidity.
