Old Carter Old Sport Bourbon Single Barrel #13 is a single barrel Kentucky bourbon from the Old Sport line of Old Carter Whiskey Co. It is bottled at barrel strength, 55.4% ABV (110.8 proof), in a 750ml bottle. The whisky is non-chill filtered and hand-labelled by Sherri Carter. Each barrel in the Old Sport series is numbered and treated as a standalone expression rather than a blend, and this is the only Barrel 13 Mark Carter has bottled. The nose is warm caramel, toffee, toasted oak, vanilla, baking spice and dried fruit. The palate is full and concentrated, with brown sugar, charred barrel, rye spice and dark chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with lasting barrel spice and a sweet fade.
