Old Fitzgerald 15 Year Old Bottled-in-Bond 2019 (75cl, 50%)

Old Fitzgerald 15 Year Old is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill's Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, released in 2019. It is bottled in bond at 100 proof (50% ABV) and comes in a 75cl flask-style decanter. Wheat takes the place of rye as the secondary grain in the mash bill, which gives the bourbon a soft, caramel-led sweetness. Fifteen years in barrel have deepened it further. The nose is rich with caramel, honey, dried fruit and warm vanilla. On the palate come toffee, butterscotch, dark fruit and deep oak, followed by a long, honeyed, warming finish.
