Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond 15 Year Old is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill's Bernheim Distillery in Louisville. It is bottled at 50% ABV, or 100 proof, in a 75cl bottle.
The bottle is a decanter inspired by the diamond-shaped bottles used for Old Fitzgerald in the 1950s. Wheat replaces the rye grain used in most Kentucky bourbons.
The nose is rich caramel, baked apple, vanilla, dried apricot and gentle toasted oak. The palate is full and silky, with toffee, dried fruit, warm baking spice and a wheat grain sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with caramel, vanilla and gentle oak.
