Parker's Heritage 11 Year Old is the 11th edition of Heaven Hill's annual series honouring Parker Beam, its Master Distiller from 1975 until 2013. It is a Kentucky straight single barrel bourbon, aged for 11 years and bottled at cask strength, 61% ABV or 122 proof, in a 75cl bottle.
It was made at the Heaven Hill Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, from Heaven Hill's standard bourbon mashbill.
The nose has vanilla, caramel and warm oak spice. The palate is bold and full-bodied, with toffee, dried fruit, baking spice and grain sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with caramel, vanilla and oak spice, ending dry.
