Old Fitzgerald 19 Year Old Fall 2022 Release (75cl, 50%)

Old Fitzgerald 19 Year Old is a Bottled-in-Bond wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml decanter. It is the Fall 2022 release of the Bottled-in-Bond Decanter Series, with a black label. The bourbon was distilled in Fall 2003 and bottled in Fall 2022 at the Heaven Hill Bernheim Distillery in Louisville. Wheat rather than rye is the secondary grain in the mash bill. The nose is rich dried fruit, caramel and toasted oak. The palate brings butterscotch, dried apple, raisins, vanilla and warm oak. The finish is long and warm. The colour is a very deep amber.
