Old Forester Single Barrel Barrel Proof Kentucky Bourbon (75cl, 64.5%)

A single barrel Kentucky bourbon from Brown-Forman's Old Forester label, bottled at cask strength of 129 proof (64.5% ABV) in a 75cl bottle. The barrel was aged on the third floor of Warehouse J, a warehouse known for some of the most fruit-forward barrels Old Forester produces. Floor three is described as a sweet spot: enough height to concentrate the spirit and raise the proof, with less aggression than the higher floors. The result is powerful without being relentless. The nose opens with coffee, cinnamon and toffee. On the palate come tart fruit, dark cherry and clove, leading to a lingering wood-spice finish.
