Old Hunter's Selection is a rye whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is blended and matured to bring out the spiciness of the rye grain, set against a smooth oak character.
Toasted rye grain, vanilla, green apple, soft cinnamon and light oak show on the nose. The palate is smooth, with spicy rye, brown sugar, pepper and gentle vanilla oak. The finish is of medium length, with lingering rye spice, some warmth and dry woodiness.
