Old Potrero American Rye is a rye whiskey created in 1993 by Fritz Maytag of the Anchor distillery. It takes its inspiration from pre-Prohibition tradition and is made from 100% malted rye. The name comes from Potrero Hill, a neighbourhood of San Francisco. It is bottled at natural strength. It is described as having an oriental charm and exotic notes, with real finesse and a mix of originality and indulgence.
