Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year Old 107 Proof is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled in 2019 at 53.5% in a 75cl bottle. It is made at the Buffalo Trace distillery to the Van Winkle family mashbill, which uses wheat rather than rye as the secondary grain. This is the higher strength version of the Van Winkle 10 year old, at its traditional strength. The original Stitzel-Weller distillery was closed in 1992 by United Distillers, and Buffalo Trace has made the whiskey under contract for the last couple of decades.
