Old Stagg Medicinal Whiskey is a pint bottle of bonded American whiskey, produced by the A. Ph. Stitzel Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, between 1916 and 1931. It comes with its original box. It was made under one of four federal licences for bonded medicinal whiskey issued during Prohibition, when the Volstead Act allowed whiskey to be sold on a physician's prescription for medicinal purposes. The date range covers both the years before Prohibition and the production under the medicinal licence.
