Omar Bourbon Cask is a Taiwanese single malt from the Nantou Distillery in Nantou County, central Taiwan. It is matured for four years or more entirely in American ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is non-chill-filtered with no added colouring, and has a bright honey-gold shade. The name Omar is Scottish Gaelic for amber.
On the nose it shows white flowers, vanilla and cream over honey. The palate is sweet vanilla with delicate floral notes, dried mango and ripe pineapple, leading to a sweet finish of medium length.
