Yushan Single Malt Bourbon Cask is a Taiwanese single malt whisky made from 100% malted barley, pot-distilled at the Nantou Distillery, which belongs to the Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in bourbon casks. It is non-chill filtered and has no added colour.
On the nose there is vanilla, cream, honey and flowers. The palate is silky and subtle, with vanilla, caramel and warming spices, and the finish is balanced and lingering, with vanilla, rich malt and bright mandarin.
