Onikishi is a Japanese blended whisky, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose starts with American white oak shaded by honey, then moves to floral heather and myrtle with touches of citrus. On the palate, honey and vanilla arrive straight away, followed by firmer caramel that coats the mouth and a warmer cedar smoke in the middle.
The finish begins with a woody note, and a fresh touch of yuzu zest sets itself against the early sweetness.
