Orkney 14 Year Old 2002/2018 Berry Bros & Rudd (56.8%)

This is a 14 year old single cask single malt from Orkney, distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2018 by Berry Bros & Rudd from cask no. 1. It is bottled at a cask strength of 56.8%. Peat and sherry are in balance here, with smoke and sweetness running together. The nose combines cigar box and leather with honeyed sweetness. On the palate come dried figs and dates, then prunes and peat smoke woven with floral notes. The finish brings cloves and a bouquet of fruit.
