Orkney (HP) 100 Proof Edition #71 14 Year Old 2011/2026 (57.1%)

This is an Orkney single malt, edition number 71 in Signatory Vintage's 100 Proof series. Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2026, it spent fourteen years in first fill Oloroso sherry butts. It is bottled at 57.1%, without chill-filtration or colouring. First fill butts give up plenty of their stored aromas, adding depth and colour to a base of honey and malt. Honey and malt come through, joined by the dry spice and dark fruit of the sherry.
