Orphan Barrel Latverian Cask is a 20 year old American light whiskey, released with Marvel Studios for Avengers: Doomsday and named after Doctor Doom's homeland. It is bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle, and the label artwork is by Rod Reis. The mash bill is almost entirely corn. It was distilled in Indiana at 189 proof and aged for twenty years in used oak barrels, mainly at Stitzel-Weller in Kentucky. Diageo's Master Blender of US Whiskey, Andrew Mackay, crafted it, and it was bottled in Bardstown. The nose is caramel and sweet vanilla. The palate brings honey, butterscotch, orange peel and oak, and the finish is warm, with creamy vanilla and dried fruit.
