Paddy Old Irish Whiskey is a 40% ABV Irish blend from the 2000s. The brand traces back to the Cork Distilleries Company, dating to 1779, and took the name Paddy in 1912 in honour of a salesman, Patrick J. O'Flaherty. The blend contains an unusually high proportion of malt whisky for an Irish whiskey, and it is triple distilled. It is pale straw-gold, with a grainy nose of honey and nuts that is slightly oily. The palate is soft and mellow, with clear maltiness, toffee and vanilla. The finish starts sweet and ends dry and woody.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
