Pappy Van Winkle 20 Year Old Family Reserve 2019

This is the 2019 release of Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve, a 20 year old bourbon from the Van Winkle range, which is bottled at Buffalo Trace. Julian Van Winkle III introduced the Pappy Van Winkle range in homage to his grandfather, first using well-aged barrels from the Stitzel-Weller distillery. After a partnership with Buffalo Trace in 2002, all bottling moved there. The early stock from Stitzel-Weller was eventually replaced by whiskey distilled at Buffalo Trace. The brand traces back to the pre-Prohibition Old Rip Van Winkle label, revived by the Van Winkle family.
