Parker's Heritage 18th Edition is a 14-year-old Kentucky malt whiskey from Heaven Hill, bottled at 53.5% in a 750ml bottle. The Parker's Heritage Collection is an annual release made in tribute to the late master distiller Parker Beam.
The mashbill is 65% malted barley and 35% corn. After maturing on the upper floors of Rickhouses O and Q, the whiskey was moved into Cognac barrels rebuilt with new heavy-toast staves for nearly four months. It is bottled without chill filtration.
The nose brings orange peel, dried summer fruit and dark chocolate. The palate is rich and velvety, with molasses, honey and toffee. The finish is long, with cloves, nutmeg and a gentle tannic grip.
