Parker's Heritage Collection 14 Year Heavy Toast Cognac Barrel Finish

This is a 14 year old Kentucky straight malt whiskey from Heaven Hill Distillery, released as the third edition of the Parker's Heritage Collection. After its years in the cask, the whiskey was finished for nearly four months in reconstructed cognac barrels fitted with heavy toast staves. It is a limited edition. The notes describe rich flavours of molasses, dark chocolate and dried fruits, with a deep, full palate and a long, layered finish.
