It is 14 years old and bottled at 53.5% ABV (107 proof), in a 75cl bottle. American malt whiskey is made from a mash of at least 51% malted barley. That grain gives a character different from corn-based bourbon: roasty, biscuity and herbal, with a strong grain presence and a different barrel influence.
