Paul John Brilliance is an unpeated Indian single malt from John Distilleries in Goa, bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was the first single malt the distillery released.
It is distilled from Indian six-row barley in copper pot stills and matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks. It is bottled non-chill-filtered, and the colour is a sparkling copper.
The nose is sweet, with Demerara sugar, honey and a dash of cinnamon. On the palate there is honey-like smoothness and a cocoa-flavoured crispness, with vanilla and malt. The finish is smooth and relaxed, with mild spice and deep vanilla.
