Brilliance is a single malt from Paul John, made by John Distilleries in Goa, India. It is distilled from Indian six-row barley grown in the Himalayan foothills.
The whisky is matured in bourbon barrels for three to five years and bottled at cask strength. The tropical climate speeds evaporation to around 12 to 13 per cent a year, and the whisky shows well at a young age.
