A single-cask, cask-strength Indian single malt from John Distilleries in Goa. This peated whisky was distilled in 2016, matured in a Madeira cask and bottled in 2023 at 57.7% ABV. Only 246 bottles were produced.
The nose pairs sweet fruit and citrus with peat smoke, malt and the influence of the Madeira. The palate is full-bodied and powerful, with cooked fruit, chocolate, warming spice, smoke and oak. The finish is long, warm and smoky, with fruit and oak lingering.
