This is the 2019 Christmas Edition from Paul John, an Indian single malt finished in PX sherry casks. The finish gives it a warm, rounded character while keeping it balanced. It is bottled at 46% and was released in an edition of 3,000 bottles. The nose is of dried fruit, raisins, caramel and soft spice. On the palate it is full and smooth, with PX sweetness, milk chocolate, honey and ripe grapes over light oak. The finish is warm and medium to long, with lingering sweet sherry and a soft spiciness.
