Paul John Christmas Edition 2020 is a limited-edition Indian single malt, bottled at 46% ABV. John Distilleries matured it in a combination of bourbon casks, Oloroso sherry casks and virgin oak.
The virgin oak adds structure, while the sherry casks bring depth and sweetness. The character is spicy, round and wood-driven.
The nose has Christmas spices, dried fruit, vanilla and light woody notes. The palate is full and rounded, with caramel, raisins, soft spices and a hint of toasted oak. The finish is warm and medium in length, with lingering spice.
