Paul John Classic is an unpeated Indian single malt from Goa, bottled at cask strength, 55.5%, in a 70cl bottle. It is the Select Cask Classic.
The whisky is matured in carefully chosen casks and bottled without chill filtration.
The nose is big and meaty, with stewed apples and pears, freshly baked sponge cake, golden barley and a pinch of salt. Honey leads the palate, with cinnamon, cracked black pepper, fruit and dark chocolate. The finish is juicy fruit with a hint of oak.
