A single cask peated malt from Paul John, the Indian distillery in Goa, bottled from cask number 784 at 57.3%. It is made from six-row barley and imported Scottish peat, and it is not chill-filtered. The nose opens with burnt oak, milk chocolate, pepper and apricot yoghurt. A few drops of water bring out orange peel, toasted muesli and peppermint. The palate is intensely caramelly and drier than the nose suggests, with burnt sugar, mint, malt and apricot.
