Peat's Beast Cask Strength (70cl, 52.1%)

This is the cask strength expression of Peat's Beast, a single malt bottled at 52.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a more intense whisky than the standard version. The nose opens with honey and vanilla spice before the peat smoke arrives, backed by sea spray and charcoal. The palate starts powerfully, then reveals banana, treacle and mocha. It ends on a spicy note of ginger and cinnamon, with smokiness that keeps building.
