Peerless – Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl)

A small batch Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at barrel proof with no water added. It is made from a sweet mash and has never been chill-filtered. The distillery describes the style as rooted in fruit, florals and oak, in contrast to its rye, which leans towards hay and pepper. On the nose there is citrus, cedar and honeysuckle, with a balance of spicy oak. The first sip brings caramel and toasted oak, and the finish plays sweet notes of citrus and florals against dry cocoa, cinnamon and spicy oak.
