Peerless Toasted Bourbon 2025 Release is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the family-owned Kentucky Peerless Distilling Company of Louisville. It is bottled at 55% ABV and is non-chill-filtered.
The bourbon is first matured for at least five years in new charred American oak, then moved into toasted barrels. The gentler toasting caramelises the wood sugars rather than heavily charring the interior, which adds sweetness and aromatic depth.
The nose offers brown sugar, caramel and honey graham cracker, with charred oak and spice. The palate is sweet and spicy, with caramel and honeycomb.
