This is a single cask Penderyn from Wales, matured in a Cognac cask. The spirit was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2021 at 61.27% ABV, with an outturn of 455 bottles of 70cl. Tasting notes point to ripe apricots, peaches, apples and pears on the nose, with sweet vanilla, toffee and spice. The palate brings sweets, buttery shortbread, almonds and spicy oak, and the finish is soft and creamy with clear green apple.
