Copperopolis is the twelfth release in the Icons of Wales series from the Penderyn distillery, a Welsh single malt. It is dedicated to the industrial history of Swansea, a city once known as Copperopolis because of its growing copper production. The whisky took much of its aroma from a finish in sweet red wine casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, unfiltered and without added colouring.
