Penderyn – Faraday Single Malt (1L, 46%)

Penderyn Faraday Single Malt is a Welsh single malt bottled at 46% in a one-litre bottle, without chill filtration and with natural colour. It is named after the Faraday still, designed by Dr David Faraday, which produces a spirit at 92%. The spirit is combined with water from the Brecon Beacons National Park. It matures in ex-bourbon casks and is finished in ruby port casks, which gives a fruitier profile. The nose is lightly portlike, with fruit perfume, raisins and vanilla. The palate is delicate and creamy, with nuts, floral honey and woody spice. The finish is medium and smooth, sweet with a nutty dryness.
