Penderyn – Serpent's Tears (2021/2025) Limited First Release (70cl, 46%)

Penderyn Serpent's Tears is a limited first release of Welsh single malt, made and matured at Penderyn's Llandudno Lloyd Street distillery beneath the Great Orme in North Wales. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The malted barley is lightly peated, which sets it apart from Penderyn's core range, and the whisky matured in bourbon casks. The nose is typically described as dry leaves, orchard fruit and wood smoke with creamy notes and toasted bread. On the palate come sweet peat, vanilla cream, baked apple, malt, pepper and cloves, and the finish is warming, with gentle peat and a sweet barley note.
