This Penderyn Single Cask is a Welsh single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured entirely in one ex-Madeira cask and bottled for the Whisky Live event in 2022.
It comes at a natural cask strength of 60% ABV and is non-chill-filtered.
On the nose there are tropical fruits, including pineapple, mango and ripe melon, with honey, vanilla cream and a little oak spice. The palate brings orchard fruit sweetness, toasted almonds and soft malt, along with the richness of Madeira wine. The finish is long, warming and silky, with dried apricot, spice and honeyed wood.
