Penderyn Single Cask Ex Tawny Port Cask is a Welsh single malt from a single ex-Tawny Port cask. It is the 2022 Whisky Live bottling, unveiled at that event.
It was bottled at natural cask strength, 59.8%, without chill filtration or added colour.
The nose has ripe cherries, poached plums and spiced orange peel, with soft vanilla and toasted oak. The palate is full-bodied, with berry compote, dark chocolate and a little cinnamon. The finish is long and warming, slightly nutty, with red fruit and sweet spice.
