The Architect is a bourbon from Penelope, bottled at 52% in a 750ml bottle.
It was developed in collaboration with the French cooperage Tonnellerie Radoux. French oak staves and the OakScan process are used to shape the flavour of the whisky.
The nose is sweet candied cream and florals with hints of crème brûlée. The palate opens with sweet vanilla and viscous cream alongside savoury oak, then moves to a creamy body with herbal and floral notes. The finish is long, with rich vanilla and some heat.
