A Pinot Nero from Alto Adige DOC by Ritterhof.
It has a clear ruby colour with bright reflections. The bouquet brings ripe red fruits, a light floral note and a spicy accent. The palate has fresh acidity and smooth sapidity, with fine, well-integrated tannins and medium body. A discreet aromatic persistence accompanies the finish.
It suits dishes with mushrooms, white meats, semi-aged cheeses, savoury risottos and lightly spiced preparations. Serve around 14-16 °C; brief aeration enhances the aromas without affecting freshness.
